Gimborn Fees, Prizes & Booking

Who is eligible to attend Gimborn?

Anybody can attend Gimborn Seminars; they don’t have to be an IPA member or employed by the police service.  Gimborn is also open to those wishing to accompany a seminar participant.

 

How much does it cost to attend Gimborn?

There is a base participation cost for attending Gimborn Seminars

IPA Section UK members –  € 160

Non IPA members – Now € 295 – € 330 depending on content.

Guests sharing with a seminar participant – make inquiries direct with Gimborn.

If places are available you may arrive a day before the seminar starts, or stay a day longer. For the one and first additional night and breakfast there is a charge of € 30 extra; prices for additional accommodation and food will be communicated on request.

Gimborn also offer assistance with transfers from Cologne and Düsseldorf.  Please inquire with Gimborn direct regarding availability and costs.


Are there any promotions or prizes allowing cheaper participation?

IPA Section UK members can get a refund on full seminar costs once in every two calendar years (except for single room supplement and extra nights).

Some Regions offer a contribution towards travel. Check with the relevant Regional Secretary.

 

What’s the terms and conditions for paying for attendance and applying for Refunds on Fees?

The participation fee is payable in Gimborn at the start of the seminar; EUR, bankcard (MAESTRO) and credit cards (Mastercard, Visa) will be accepted.

Members may apply for a refund on the participation costs once in every two calendar years.  They must provide an article for Police World and / or a news item at the determination of the Editor within 30 days of attendance.  email: mail@ipa-uk.org
