A warm welcome to the home page of the Central London (6) Region of the British Section of the International Police Association.
6 Region covers the historic Cities of London and Westminster, the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea as well as the Boroughs of Richmond-upon-Thames, Hammersmith & Fulham and Hounslow. It also covers the Metropolitan Police Marine Support Unit formerly known as Thames Division and the Metropolitan Police Headquarters, New Scotland Yard.
Apart from the above Boroughs of the Metropolitan Police Service, 6 Region covers the entire force area of the City of London Police. The former Royal Parks Constabulary (now part of the Metropolitan Police Service) are also represented as are areas covered by the British Transport Police and the Ministry of Defence Police.
There is so much to see and do in our Region. One of the best ways to see our Region is a boat trip starting at HM Tower of London passing by HM Palace of Westminster, taking in the magnificent Chelsea Harbour with views of Chelsea Football Club, then onwards past Hammersmith until you arrive in the beautiful surroundings of Richmond - home to Kew Gardens , Henry the Eighth's Palace at Hampton Court and of course the home of English Rugby Football, Twickenham.
