In October 2011, the body of DC Heather Cooper was found in woodland in Blackdown Woods, West Sussex, just a few miles from her home in Haslemere, Surrey. She was on Maternity Leave from Surrey Police at the time. Her partner, a former Detective Constable, has been charged with her murder and awaits trial. She leaves 2 young children (Joshua, aged 3 and a baby, Isobelle). An appeal has been launched, coordinated by Surrey Police Federation, to support the two children.  In support of this appeal, Surrey Roads Policing Unit have commissioned a limited edition Enamel Tie Pin, which will be sold at a cost of £3.00 each, with all proceeds going to the children’s appeal. Please help by purchasing one of the pins. The Tie Pins are priced at £3.00 each (+ p&p). The more pins sold, the cheaper the production costs are, and therefore the more money can be raised for Heather's children. All inquiries to secretary-general@ipa-uk.org
