Following on from the success of International Police Association 1 Region’s 2011/12 photography / calendar competition, it has been decided that it will be repeated for 2012/13. Members are cordially invited to enter this competition now - closing date is 31 March, 2012.
The 2013 calendar, encapsulating images of Scotland, will go on sale to raise funds for 1 Region - Scotland.
Each person may submit up to two photographs for possible inclusion in the 2013 calendar. From the entries submitted, 12 will be chosen for inclusion in the calendar. First prize is a £50 gift voucher. The 12 finalists will each receive a certificate and a complementary calendar.

The winning entry from last year
We are looking for a selection of images that depict Scotland and its heritage that will appeal to others.
How to enter:
Please ensure each entry is labelled with your entry title and the location of photograph, your name, address, telephone number, email address, your IPA membership number or if a member of their family, their IPA membership number and / or Police Service details. You must be either an IPA member or related to an IPA member or be a Police Service employee.

Rules:
1. An entrant can submit a maximum of two photographs.
2. All images must be submitted as digital files.
3. Digital images should be submitted by email. Each image should not exceed 6MB in size. No postal entries accepted.
4. Images must be original and may not be enhanced.
All entries are sent at the photographer’s risk and IPA Scotland cannot accept liability for loss or damage. Entries will not be returned to entrants.
Entrants must be the sole author and owner of copyright for all images entered.
Copyright in all images submitted for this competition remains with the respective entrants. Where an image is used, the photographer will be credited. However, in consideration of entering the competition, each entrant grants International Police Association permission to feature competition images in any promotional material connected to this competition. No fee will be paid to entrants.
The competition is open to members of the International Police Association, their families and employees of any Police Service.
Winners will be notified by September 2012.
IPA Scotland, the organisers of the competition, reserves the right to cancel this competition or alter any of the rules, if necessary.
The decision of the judges is final.
The closing date for entries is 31 March, 2012. Images will be judged by a panel.
