The IPA House is on a farm setting amid open countryside in the heart of the East Neuk of the Kingdom of Fife in Scotland, 2 miles from the lovely coastal town of Anstruther and a mere 7 miles from St. Andrews.

There are many world famous golf courses, the most famous being the historic Old Course at St. Andrews, picturesque ancient harbours and award winning beaches, all within a 10 minute drive.

There is an abundance of attractions in the East Neuk; the town, university, castle and cathedral ruins of St. Andrews, Kellie Castle (1 mile from IPA House), Hill of Tarvit Mansion House and the Royal Palace at Falkland. Wildlife sanctuaries and nature reserves are to be found nearby. The Isle of May is renowned for its puffin colony, fulmars, cormorants, seals and porpoise. Boat trips from Anstruther leave daily through most of the year.

In the evenings luxuriate in the quiet of the country setting or visit one of the many first class restaurants or inns in the local seaside villages or St. Andrews. The University of St Andrews is situated in the town and it's the oldest university in Scotland. Most recently it was in the media spotlight as being where Prince William studied and graduated from.

How To Find Us

From Edinburgh:

Follow signs for Forth Road Bridge. Exit M90 Junction 2A towards Kirkcaldy.At Redhouse roundabout head towards Leven. At Durievale roundabout stay on A915 direction St Andrews. At Upper Largo continue towards Colinsburgh B942. On leaving Colinsburgh follow signs for Kellie Castle. Drive past Kellie Castle and St Andrews Cheese Farm taking the road to the left (signposted Crail). Travel straight up the farm road, we are the first house on the right hand side.

From St Andrews:

Leave South Street, direction Anstruther. Travel through 2 mini roundabouts uphill towards Kinkell Braes caravan site. Turn right after passing caravan site at Brownhills garage. Travel approximately 7 miles passing through Dunino and Beley Bridge. Next take right turn at 2nd crossroads signed Kellie Castle/Leven/St Andrews Cheese Farm. At end of road take sharp right onto farm road (signed Balmonth). We are first house on right hand side.
